Without a doubt Tahj Mowry was one of the most popular stars on teen stars online back in its early days, as a matter of fact, he was one of the first the site started with on its pages. Tahj Mowry was born on May 17, 1987, in Honolulu, HI. As a toddler, Tahj’s mom used to take him to the set of Sister, Sister, where his sisters Tia and Tamera starred, and a star was born.

Tahj Mowry went on to do four commercials and then made his series debut on Who’s the Boss?. After that, he landed the recurring role as Teddy on “Full House” from 91-95.

Tahj leaped to fame when he landed his own series “Smart Guy” for the WB Network. On the show, he played whiz kid T.J Henderson who at 11 is in the same high school as his older brother and sister and started to drive them to distraction and frustration and hilarity ensued on the much-loved series with the catchy theme song.

Well before his big break on Smart Guy Tahj guest-starred on and appeared regularly on several shows with a guest role on Where I Live (1993), he played Shavon on the series “Out All Night” (1992-93), credit for the voice of Young Sonic on “Sonic the Hedgehog” (1994), Teddy on “Full House” (1991-95). Tahj also did work on “Aladdin” (1994-95), “Timon & Pumbaa” (1995), “What a Mess” (1995), “Friends” (1995), “Star Trek: Voyager” (1996), “Minor Adjustments” (1996) and “Sister, Sister” (1994-97). He was also the voice of Wade Load for 86 episodes of “Kim Possible” (2002-07).

After Smart Guy came to an end he appeared in the direct to video “We Wish You a Merry Christmas” as Ollie. He then went on to three consecutive popular made for TV movies starting in 2000 with “Seventeen Again” which also starred his sisters and in 2001 “Hounded” and “The Poof Point” both major hits with kids and teens. He was also the voice of Wade in a TV movie version of the series titled “Kim Possible: A Sitch in Time” (2003) and two years later again for “Kim Possible: So the Drama” (2005).

Tahj wrapped up his child and teen years roles with three video shorts between 2003 and 2005, “Disney Channel Circle of Stars: Circle of Life,” “Hermie & Friends: Webster the Scaredy Spider” and “Hermie & Friends: Buzby, the Misbehaving Bee,” he also appeared on the series “Lilo & Stitch: The Series” (2005).

He also appeared on “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” he was 20 at the time and landed his feature film in 2007 with “Are We Done Yet?” with Ice Cube. Tahj continued to working well past his teen star years with work on series such as “The Game” (2006-09) “Hey Tucker!” (2013) and “Baby Daddy” (2012-17).

Tahj also loved to dance and as a child has danced in videos for Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, and Prince, as well as two Academy Award shows.
