
Michelle in the early 2000s was first listed and had a solid following at our teen stars online site, she might be best known on television for “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” (2000-03) and on the big screen for “Harriet the Spy” (1996). She started her career at about the age of three pitching for Wisk detergent in a TV commercial and went on to appear in well over 100 others. She appeared regularly on television and movies in her child and teen years which we focus on.
Her first credited role was playing Nona on the Nickelodeon series “The Adventures of Pete & Pete” from 1994 until 1996 and around the same time, she played Lily Montgomery on the soap opera “All My Children” in two episodes in 1994.
Some of Michelle’s numerous TV guest roles for brevity are “Law & Order” (1991), “Clarissa Explains It All” (1993), and “Dave’s World” (1996). She had regular series roles on “The Adventures of Pete & Pete” (1994-96), “Meego” (1997), “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” (2000-03), and “Six Feet Under” which about wrapped up her teen years. During her child and teen years, she also appeared in the made for television movies “Christmas in My Hometown” (1996), “Bonne Nuit” (1999), and “A Father’s Choice” (2000).
Michelle’s other major motion picture roles during her child and teen years besides Harriet the Spy was an earlier uncredited role in “Secret Sins” (1995) and later “Inspector Gadget” (1999), “Can’t Be Heaven” (1999), and to wrap the teen role years “EuroTrip” (2004) and “Mysterious Skin” (2004).
The lovely Michelle Trachtenberg has successfully continued her acting career well after her teen years with roles in series such as “Guidance” (2015) and into 2018 with voice work on “Human Kind Of.”
Michelle was a pretty and talented young actress and today she is a lovely lady with no former child star issues.
Absolutely one of my favs as a kid, I wanted to be her, loved her movies.
Michelle is awesome, love her old movies and so sad she said in school she was bullied while a child star.
