The Naked City (1958)

PreviousPage 4 of 4

In 1958 one of the finest police series was introduced featuring the cases of the N.Y.P.D.'s 65th Precinct, the 60s look at New York City is a treasure as are the main actors and the weekly guest stars.

Filmed in glorious B&W with no hi-tech effects just good acting and fantastic stories that today's crap cant even comes close to, tried watching any recent series on TV?

You can watch it free on Freevee or Pluto TV.

The Naked City is another classic from the golden age of television featuring the cases of the N.Y.P.D.'s 65th Precinct. The writing was superb as was the acting and the on-scene locations of 1960s NYC are simply superb.

Two episodes not to miss are from season 4, episode 21 The Prime of Life, and from the same season episode 10, A Horse Has a Big Head - Let Him Worry! these are two that show the brilliance of the series.

For those looking to see it, it is streaming free now on Freevee.

Exactly, not just a great show but the cars, the city, the clothing all a museum of NYC of that era, I love looking at the city in those days while enjoying quality TV.

I have said the same because the forum is large and someone could comment on something you posted and you can come on and not know, the conversation would flow better if that notification existed as soon as you log to the forum.
