The Cider House Rules (1999)

I remember liking this movie when I first saw it, and I only watched it, to be honest, then because it had Kieran Culkin in the cast. I really liked him more than his more famous brother. It also had Erik Per Sullivan, Dewey of Malcom in the Middle, but this movie was from 1999, a year before MITM debuted, and was such a sensation. On a side note, it is hard to believe Dewey is now 33. Where does the time go? *sigh*

A really touching movie, and I watched it a few times back then. I was kind of addicted to it. I just thought I would mention it since it fits in with movies with Kids in the cast, and it fits even better that EPS was a big deal on TSO back then, along with Frankie Muniz and Justin Berfield.

I feel so old and a bit melancholy right now, lol

An excellent movie deserving of all its nominations, and Michael Caine was so deserving of his Best Supporting Actor win.

Saturday Night at the Movies.

Oh I remember that movie, lil Dewey from MITM was in it.

Oh this is one I have not thought about for ages but indeed and with excellent film with some good buzz on the site back on its release.

I forgot about this little gem. I love how often I am reminded of films I loved just by logging in here.

I remember it well now; it was around the same time as The Sixth Sense, a highly regarded film with standout performances, especially from the great Michael Caine. I am not in the mood for another viewing after many years, this is from when Hollywood still made good films.

I love this movie, though I, too, admit I only watched it for Kiera Culkin. I had a mad crush on that boy. lol Loved the movie so much, I watched it a few times on DVD back when it was released on video.

A blast from the past, a highly regarded movie mostly for the acting performances, I also feel like watching this excellent film once more now that I have been reminded about it.
