Cameron Boyce (May 28, 1999 – July 6, 2019), was an American child and teen actor who first appeared in the video That Green Gentleman (Things Have Changed) by Panic! At The Disco. He then played Michael ‘Stone’ Cates Jr.in a recurring role on the series “General Hospital: Night Shift.” This was followed by a lead in “Mirrors” with Kiefer Sutherland, the thriller which was shot in Romania and also starred Paula Patton.

Cameron has shot to fame playing the role of ‘Luke Ross’ on the Disney hit series “Jessie” which also stars Debby Ryan, Peyton List, Karan Brar, and Skai Jackson. The series was one of the most popular on Disney with a legion of young fans.

Other big-screen roles for Boyce include playing Sam Holloman in the action-packed “Eagle Eye” which stars Shia LeBeouf. Cameron plays the son of Michelle Monaghan who is pushed into a series of dangerous situations by mysterious phone calls from a woman she has never met. He then went on to play ‘Keithie Feder’ in the 2010 feature film “Grown Ups” and also had a small role in “Judy Moody and the Not Bummer Summer” (2011). He returned as Keithie in “Grown Ups 2” (2013).

Besides his break-out role on “Jessie,” he has also guest-starred on the Disney series “Good Luck Charlie” and was one of the featured dancers on “Shake It Up” and a Royal Wedding tribute on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars.” He also appeared in an episode of “The LXD: The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers.” Cameron also for 2013 was the voice of Jake in the animated “Jake and the Never Land Pirates” after taking over the role from Colin Ford.

Boyce later joined the cast of the 2015 Disney TV movie “Descendants” which also stars BooBoo Stewart. With “Jessie” ending production after four seasons, Cameron moves easily right into Disney XD’s new live-action comedy, “Gamer’s Guide to Pretty Much Everything.” He was the voice of Carlos for a recurring role on the animated series “Descendants: Wicked World” and was reunited with the cast of his Jessie series in a guest role on the series “Bunk’d” in the 2016 episode Lukes Back, he also guest-starred on “Code Black” as Brody in the episode Love Hurts. Boyce for the second time appeared in the TV movie sequel “Descendants 2” and will continue the role in the third installment “Descendants 3” which is expected to be released in 2019. He also played Becker in the TV Movie “Steps” and was the voice of Herman Schultz / Shocker in an episode of the animated series “Spider-Man” (2017).

Earlier in his career, he appeared in national network commercials for Kraft Macaroni and Cheese “The Blues I Like Best” Target Stores- two spots Bisquick “Vibrations” and Mattel Toys

Boyce was a skilled actor and dancer who also held a Blue Belt in Taijutsu- Studio City Martial Arts dojo, he was also a stand-out Basketball Player and enjoys Swimming, Acting, Gymnastics, and Funk Music. Along with his four friends, he is a member of the dance crew “X Mob.

Cameron Boyce tragically died on July 6, 2019, at the age of 20 in his sleep due to an undisclosed illness shocking his family and many fans around the world, he will be missed as he was in the recent crop of one of the most popular stars discussed at Teen Stars Online.
