Booboo Stewart

Booboo Stewart was another very popular star we had listed at Teen Stars Online with a bonus that at around age 11 and just starting out he regularly interacted with fans on the forum for a few years, he was born Nils Allen Stewart Jr. on January 21, 1994, in Beverly Hills, California. He is of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean descent on his mom’s side and Blackfoot Native American, Scottish, and Russian from his father’s side.

He is probably best known for his role as Seth Clearwater in Twilight Eclipse as well as both parts of Breaking Dawn. He didn’t get much screen time in the Eclipse saga but certainly got his share in the Breaking Dawn sagas. In case you don’t remember him, Seth is part of the group of werewolves led by Jacob Black. He is Leah’s younger brother and was part of Sam Uley’s pack until he joined Jacob’s pack in Breaking Dawn.

Besides being a star in the Twilight movies, he also had television appearances in “Steve Harvey’s Big Time Challenge,” “Dante’s Cove,” “ER,” and”Everybody Hates Chris.”  He is also well known for his recording of the opening theme song for the Disney Channel Games 2008 as well as for recording the theme song for the movie The Little Mermaid.

Looking at other roles for Stewart in his child and teen years he played a child warrior in the 2004 TV movie “Skeleton Man” that same year and had a small role in his first feature film “Yard Sale”. In 2006 he appeared in the direct to “18 Fingers of Death!” and the features “The Conrad Boys” and “666: The Child” as Donald. Other features while a teen actor include “The Last Sentinel”, “Uncle P”, “The Fifth Commandment”, “American Cowslip”, “Logan” “Dark Games” “White Frog” and wrapping up those years with “Hansel & Gretel: Warriors of Witchcraft”, “Isolated” and “Space Warriors.”

Besides being an actor in his early years, he is also a singer, model, and dancer. He was the host of several episodes of a kid’s show in Hawaii titled “Blue Dolphin Kids” and he did stunt work on a few movies including “Zoom” in 2006 and “Beowulf” in 2007.

In addition, he toured with Miley Cyrus in her Best of Both Worlds Tour which featured the Jonas Brothers and he appeared in the band’s Target ads. He also toured with the Camp Rock Freestyle Jam concert series.

He also appeared in numerous magazines and billboards showcasing clothes, Hot Wheels, and Wii Fit. From 2006 to 2008, he was part of the band T-Squad and later a member of 5L with his sister Trent.

Very involved in charity work in those years, in 2010, he was named a celebrity ambassador by the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Through this role, he is helping to bring more awareness to muscular diseases. In addition, he went to Perth, Australia for a telethon to help raise funds for the Princess Margaret Hospital for Children.

Booboo Stewart has transitioned well from a child to a teen star and into young adulthood as he continues to work on a regular basis.
